LIVE music, champagne, delicious food and boundless community spirit will make the final weekend of Emsworth British Food Fortnight one to remember.

The huge event, now in its second year, has seen scores of mouth-watering events showcasing the very best in local food and drink.

Tomorrow is A Thought For Food Market in South Street car park and St Peter’s Square.

It begins at 11am and will see producers as diverse as Pig ‘n’ Pickles, Fresh from the Boat, Tuppenny Barn, The Little Pet Biscuit Company and Three Harbours Beef.

Renowned sparkling wine producers Hambledon Vineyards is hosting a wine-tasting pavilion, and there will even be a market safari.

Children’s entertainment and live music will take place throughout the day.

On Sunday the interdenominational Harvest Festival service begins in St Peter’s Square at 11.30am.

That will be followed by the unveiling of the food mountain – the food generously donated throughout the festival to Beacon Church Food Bank.
