THE Rowans Hospice is appealing for children’s entertainers to attend its Big Push picnic.

The picnic will take place at Canoe Lake in Southsea on Saturday, July 23, after the Rowans’ bed push – which will see teams of people pushing a bed from the hospice in Purbrook to Southsea.

The bed push and picnic are both in aid of reaching the £1m target for the hospice’s Dorothy’s Dream appeal, which will fund a new service to support terminally-ill people to die in the comfort of their own homes.

Children’s entertainers, face painters, balloon modellers are needed for the picnic, from 2pm to 5pm. They must be CRB-checked and have public liability insurance.

To register your interest call Lesley Woodcock at the Rowans on (023) 9223 8532.
