A HISTORIC castle is to hold an event marking the 600th anniversary of the Battle of Agincourt.

Arundel Castle in West Sussex is to mark the occasion with the two-day Mustering for Agincourt event on June 20 to June 21.

It explores the preparations of those who would ultimately take part in the battle and the role that Arundel played in those key moments.

Set in a tented encampment across Arundel Castle’s lower lawns, this event gives visitors an opportunity to immerse themselves in medieval life by meeting craftsmen and 15th century cooks and watching archery displays among other attractions.

Mustering for Agincourt is based on real events and is billed as the perfect day out for history buffs and thrill seekers alike.
