PEOPLE struggling with bereavement are being invited to get extra support.

Help in Bereavement Social Club meets at St George’s Church Hall, in Waterlooville, on the second Monday of every month and at The Ashcroft Centre, in Fareham, on the fourth Monday of every month. Both clubs are from 10am to midday and they will be joining forces for their Christmas Social at St George’s on December 8 from 10am to midday.

Secretary Betty Miller said: ‘Since the club’s beginning last year it has gone from strength to strength and we regularly enjoy outings to places of interest.’

She said everyone was welcome to attend the monthly clubs, as well as the festive social. There will be refreshments and a raffle. Entrance is by donation.
