THE smallest and sickest of babies will benefit from the proceeds of a family festival to take place on Southsea Common on Sunday from 10am to 5pm.

Charity Ickle Pickles is hosting a summer party with attractions including inflatables, a Jungle Buddies Playbus, a food and drink stalls and donkey rides.

There will also be a toy tombola, fire engine, live performances and a magic show put on by Stephen Simmons.

Ickle Pickles was set up to support neonatal units across the country.

It helps to buy specialised equipment incubators and ventilators and also helps the units improve facilities for families of small and sick babies.
