HOLDING the receipt he claims he was provided with when he took his television to Stuart Haines in confidence, Jack Batchelor says all he wants is his money back.

The 16-year-old, who lives in Landport, says he is yet to get the £80 refunded that he and his mum paid for repair work.

And when he got the TV back after weeks of asking, he says it was in a worse state than before.

He said: ‘We asked for a repair and he came to collect it and gave me a receipt.

‘After a few weeks, he was making up excuses. We asked again and again for it back. When we asked for our money back, he said “no”.

‘He gave us the television back and it was in a worse state than when he took it away.

‘I’m quite shocked about it all. We have tried taking him to court but we are still waiting to hear back about it.

‘We have tried to send him letters but there has been no reply back.

‘It’s quite a lot of money to me and I want it back.’
