TWO karate kids received their next belt in a presentation at their weekly club.

Jack Coleman, nine, and Gracie Austin, nine, of Redlands Primary School, were presented with their orange belts after two years studying at Ryukin Ryu Karate Club.

The organisation meets weekly at the Broadlaw Community Centre, in Broadlaw Walk, Fareham.

The club is run by Carole Steadman and husband Dennis.

Sensei Carole said: ‘Jack and Gracie have been with us since the start in 2011. They have hardly missed a week. They did their orange belts together and they both got through which I’m so pleased about. They are both lovely children, I’m so proud of them.’

The club has two classes – one for children and one for adults – which cost £3.25 per session. Call 01329 285667 for more information.
