Former X-Factor star and People’s Postcode Lottery presenter, Danyl Johnson presented her with her cheque.

Zoe said: ‘When I opened the cheque I couldn’t stop crying.

‘I’m just an ordinary person – this kind of thing doesn’t happen to me.’

Zoe, a health care support worker, decided to sign up early last year after she was convinced by family members.

‘My in-laws play and told us all about it,’ she said.

‘I love the fact that I don’t have to choose numbers every week.’

Zoe already has plans as to how to spend her winnings.

She said: ‘We need to do some home improvements.

‘I’d like to re-do the kitchen, bathroom and driveway.

‘They are the type of things that we usually save up to do but now I can get them all done at once.’

As well as some home improvements, Zoe has decided to treat her children.

‘My husband Mark and I decided to give our three kids, Sophie, 23, Lewis, 20, and Lloyd, 14, £1,000 each,’ she said.

‘I think they already have an idea of how to spend it.’

People’s Postcode Lottery Street Prize presenter Danyl Johnson said: ‘It was fantastic to meet Zoe and present her with her cheque.

‘She was delighted to win £25,000 and I hope she has a great time spending her winnings.’
