CONCERTS and a fashion show are being organised to help a church raise £500,000 to fix its clock and tower.

The events are in aid of the High Time appeal, which is raising cash to help Holy Trinity Church in West Street, Fareham.

There will be free lunchtime concerts held at the church, with a retiring collection, on the last Tuesday of each month from April to November, from 1.05pm to 1.50pm.

A variety of musical styles will be included and the first concert will be held tomorrow, when Baroque Ad Hoc will perform music for harpsichord and recorder.

A fashion show is taking place at Fareham Shopping Centre at 7pm on Thursday. The night will see stores from the centre showcase their summer collections, as will as students from Fareham College display their work. The show starts at 7.30pm.

Tickets cost £10 and include refreshments and entertainment from the Purple Tree Production Company.
