HERE is the foal who got stuck in a hole – happily reunited with its mother.
As reported in The News, the two-week old Irish cob cross was discovered by walkers trapped in a badger sett behind The Causeway, Petersfield.
She was eventually rescued by Buster Brown, Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service’s animal rescue specialist with the help of Tim Burgess from Havant station.
Buster said: ‘The mother was very distressed and ran off.
‘Members of the public covered it with a blanket and called us. Tim gently pulled the front legs and I gently pushed its rump and managed to get it out. The RSPCA managed to track down the mother.’
