FUN for all the family was enjoyed as the sun shone on a community centre’s summer fair.
Scores of people went to Broadlaw Community Centre, in Fareham, to enjoy a range of activities, including a fun fair, bouncy castle, a raffle and stalls.
The centre is run by volunteers and the fete is an important fundraiser every year to ensure the community hub can continue.
Sandi Naylor, one of the volunteers, said: ‘It’s been absolutely brilliant – the amount of people we have had!
‘I was there at 7am and I saw so many people enjoying themselves.
‘We have been praying hard for this weather!’
Throughout the year the team put on activities for young people.
‘We put on film shows for them and take the children out on fun days,’ said Sandi.
