YOUNGSTERS had fun singing songs and reading stories at a new library session.

Fun Time at Bridgemary Library, in Gosport, is a new event held every fortnight on Saturdays.

There are stories, songs, music-making sessions and craft workshops.

Olivia Kempsford, five, was one of the first youngsters to take part.

Her dad, Daryl, 30, of Cameron Close in Gosport, said: ‘She absolutely loved it.

‘She’s really looking forward to the next one.

‘She sang a song and they read a story and she came away with a picture.

‘I think it’s a really good thing because it keeps them active.’

Fun Time is for children who are six years old or younger.

It takes place from 10am until 10.30am.
