THE FUNERAL is being held today of a teenager killed alongside her best friend when they were hit by a car.

Hundreds of mourners are expected at St John’s Church, Forton, Gosport, later today to say goodbye to 14-year-old Jasmine Allsop.

The schoolgirl was killed in the early hours of Sunday, November 3, just yards from her home in Ann’s Hill Road, Gosport.

She died instantly when she was hit by a car. Her friend, 16-year-old friend Olivia Lewry, was seriously injured and died in hospital a few hours later.

The church will be decorated in pink, Jasmine’s favourite colour. The funeral takes place at 1pm.

Samuel Etherington, 20, from Stoners Close, Gosport, is accused of two counts of manslaughter after the green Honda Civic he was driving hit the girls.
