HUNDREDS of lovable pooches took part in a fun dog show which raised about £500 for charity.
The event hosted an abundance of categories from best puppy and best rescue dog, to best fancy dress – all in aid of local pet charity Four Paws Complete Care.
A doggy talent show was also held and the pets performed tricks such as playing dead and rolling over, while two ‘singing’ dogs performed a duet.
There were also stalls at the show in Bransbury Park, Eastney, selling pet care, jewellery and food.
One of the organisers Claire Chmarny, from the dog charity, said: ‘Everyone was really up for it and the dogs got a great reaction.
‘Lots of people entered their dogs into the categories – some of them had about 30 entries so it was very hard for the judges.
‘It’s amazing how competitive people can get, even when it’s just for fun, but all the dogs were just lovely.’
