A CALL to open a museum’s gardens for longer in the summer has been denied.

Fareham North West ward Cllr Peter Davies called on Fareham Borough Council to consider opening the garden at Westbury Manor Museum, on West Street, longer than 5pm.

The motion was refused at a full council meeting due to fears of vandalism.
