THE Triple Threat performance group, Abstract Dance and Performing Arts school are rehearsing for their debut production at Kings Theatre, in Southsea.

The show in July will feature all 160 members of the school, from 21 months to 50 years old. The group is looking for sponsors for the production.

Group founder Amber-Leigh Mitchell, 21, is writing the production which will include dance, singing, acting and possibly a fitness performance. She said: ‘When I told the members we booked the Kings for the show their faces lit up, they were gob-smacked they couldn’t believe it.’

‘Around 120 of our students haven’t taken dance before so its an amazing opportunity for them to build confidence, health and friendships and its also exciting for their family and friends to see them achieve something so amazing.

Tickets can be purchased through the theatre box office.
