A CHARITY is appealing for unwanted Christmas gifts to stock the shelves of its shops in Gosport and Fareham.

The Age UK shops in West Street, Fareham and High Street, Gosport, desperately need donations. Age UK supports older people by delivering services such as lunch clubs, home safety checks and a free advice line.

Donna Wilkins, store manager of the Fareham shop, said: ‘By donating unwanted gifts to our shop people will be helping a great cause.

‘The money raised through our shops goes to supporting the charity’s vital work for older people so we are urging everyone in the area to de-clutter their homes and make a real difference to an older person.

‘We need quality stock and if you don’t want it, we’ll take it.’
