Portsmouth Museum is offering a unique opportunity to visit after dark and experience a torchlight tour with Creepy Ghost Stories.

The event takes place tomorrow at 7.30pm and offers a rare perspective of Portsmouth Museum in the twilight hours, as part of the national Museums at Night campaign.

Visitors will weave their way around the building and hear tales of local ghosts and murders as well as exploring what’s lurking in the shadows in areas not usually open to the public.

Literature classics such as MR James and Dickens will be woven into the narrative of the tour with the stories coming to life throughout. But brave visitors should beware that as the tour progresses the stories become darker and darker.

Tickets cost £15 and must be purchased in advance online. Places are limited so book soon to avoid disappointment.
