DELICIOUS mince pies, homemade Christmas cakes and face painting are all on the bill at a Christmas Fair.

The Sacred Heart and St Peter Apostle church, in London Road, Waterlooville, is hosting the event, on Saturday, where there will be lots going on.

It begins at 9.30am and, although there is no entrance fee, visitors are encouraged to donate to The Rowans Hospice, in nearby Purbrook.

There will be face painting and an art competition for the children, stalls selling new gifts, as well as hand-made items.

There will be plenty to eat and drink throughout the morning and some brilliant prizes on the raffle.

Elizabeth White, one of the organisers, said: ‘It’s going to be great. I’m sure everyone who comes along will really get into the Christmas mood.’

The fair finishes at 1pm.
