A TEENAGER is going to get her hair chopped off to donate to The Little Princess Trust.
Maddison Thompson, 13, from Blakemere Crescent in Paulsgrove, is set to get her 13-inch long hair cut to support the cancer charity.
Apart from having it trimmed, Maddison has been growing her hair for the past three years.
She said: ‘I had quite a few family members who have had cancer and lost their hair. They all survived cancer.
‘I would like to do it for all the people who are fighting it now so they can have a wig.’
Maddison will have her hair cut in January and she will ask for it to be styled into a bob.
‘I don’t mind having short hair,’ she added.
‘I’m quite looking forward to it. I want to see how it comes out.
‘My mum never thought I would go through with it so when I told her she was quite pleased.’
