A high-flying superstar dropped into Goodwood more than a year ago to film scenes for a Hollywood blockbuster – and now the result is in cinemas.
The Man from U.N.C.L.E. filmed scenes at Goodwood in autumn of 2013 featuring Henry Cavill, best known for playing Superman in the 2013 Man of Steel blockbuster and the upcoming sequel next year.
A section of the trailer appears to show the motor circuit – a familiar sight to car enthusiast Cavill.
He has been a previous visitor to the Festival of Speed and was back in April this year for a photoshoot and interview.
“There’s no better place than England in the summer, and at Goodwood it’s fantastic,” he told the Goodwood Magazine.
According to the Internet Movie Database (IMDb), the film also shot in Surrey, Kent, London and Naples.

The Man from UNCLE is in cinemas now and also stars Hugh Grant, Alicia Vikander, Armie Hammer, Elizabeth Debicki and Jared Harris.
It was directed by Guy Ritchie
