SHE is getting prepared to say goodbye to her long locks to raise money for charity.

Donna Coney, from Gosport, is shaving her head tomorrow for Cancer Research UK in memory of her dad Martin who died last year from the illness.

She’s feeling very excited but a bit apprehensive.

As well as raising cash for the charity, Donna’s hair will also be donated to the Little Princess Trust.

Donna’s mum Sue said: ‘She’s pleased because she will be able to do two good deeds in one. She’s feeling very excited but a bit apprehensive.’

Donna, 24, will be going down to a grade two. She has raised £400 so far.
