FIREFIGHTERS will turn bingo callers when they give out safety advice to older people.

The crew from Havant fire station will take over Crown Bingo, in Leigh Park, next Friday from 2.45pm.

As part of Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service’s campaign to keep older people safe, two firefighters will act as special guest callers.

Home safety advice will be given out before and after the bingo.

There will be free smoke alarm testers and cups of tea available. The bingo hall is in Somborne Drive.
