THIS cute piglet has its mum to thank for coming into the world so healthy.

Its mum, called Guinness, is one of the most productive sows at Staunton Country Park in Havant and this year has had a litter of six.

Gordon Gardner, park manager, said: ‘It seems a strange name for a female pig!

‘Our names often have humorous connotations and she is probably quite stout looking.

‘The great thing about her is she always gives a decent number of piglets.

‘The key to producing a good litter is the pig can’t be fat.

‘If the pig is fat, they tend to have trouble conceiving.’
