AN EVENING of shopping and pampering in aid of charity managed to raise over £500.

The event, at The Spring Arts and Heritage Centre in Havant, was organised to raise funds for Age Concern Hampshire.

Community fund raiser and organiser Ellie Newton said: ‘This was such a great opportunity to raise money for our work, and a great success.’

The occasion, Life’s Little Luxuries, included a host of Christmas shopping and treatment stalls, and a photo booth.

The money raised will help to continue the services of Age Concern, such as counselling for people with dementia.
