AN EXPERT on the royal family will give a talk on the Crown Jewels to mark the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.

Dr Anna Keay, curatorial director of English Heritage will give a talk on the jewels, the the most visited of the nation’s great collections.

The priceless objects, housed in the Tower of London, were created as the physical embodiment of English sovereignty.

Dr Keay will appear at The Spring Arts and Heritage Centre, in Havant, on May 31, in a fundraising event to help raise money to improve the theatre’s seating.

Tickets to the event, on May 31, cost £4.50.
