THERE is still time to book taster sessions at this year’s National Watersports Festival.

The event, from August 31 to September 1, is set to attract thousands of people to Hayling Island.

The island has been hosting the event for the past eight years and it has become the biggest festival in the watersports calendar.

There will be kite surfing, kayaking and stand-up paddle boarding to take part in and watch.

And there’s still chance to book up the taster sessions that are taking place all weekend.

The festival is unique in that anyone can take part in any of the competitions – you do not have to be professional.

It is renowned for its atmosphere and sense of community with thousands staying in camper vans and pitching tents across the island.
