CLASSIC cars of all makes and sizes transformed a pub car park.
More than 50 perfectly polished cars were on display at the Hayling Billy pub, in Elm Grove, Hayling Island.
This was the second show put on by the Hayling Legends Classic Car club, whose members hold weekly meetings at the pub.
The event was organised by Dennis Cooper and Dave Smith and included visitors from other clubs, including Solent Renegades and Manhood Club in West Sussex.
A tombola and raffle was held.
Mr Smith, 69, of Chestnut Avenue, Bedhampton, said: ‘It went really well.
‘We had a range of cars, from Minis to American cars, Ford, Citroens and VWs.
‘It was a good selection.’
Mr Smith said the camaraderie between classic car enthusiasts is fantastic.
‘If you break down, nine times out of 10 someone will stop to help you,’ said Mr Smith.
Havant Mayor Gerald Shimbart visited the show for one of his last mayoral duties.
He said: ‘Classic cars are great – I love them.’
He added: ‘I’m going to miss it greatly because I have met some wonderful people.’
