RESEARCH shows 9,000 residents in Portsmouth are eligible for help from energy companies to keep their homes warm this winter.

Home Heat Helpline, which has produced the findings, is encouraging people to
call so they can find out what help they are entitled to.

Portsmouth MP Penny Mordaunt, backing the results, said: ‘There is a lot of help to make sure everyone has this but many people may not know where to turn for free advice on keeping their home from the energy companies.’
