A MUSIC fan who lost her purse at the South Coast Proms has thanked the person who handed it in.

Susan Tildsley, of Highbury Grove, Cosham, enjoyed a night out at the proms on Whale Island on Saturday and didn’t realise until Sunday afternoon that her purse was missing.

She said: ‘My son emailed the organisers and they said it had been handed in.

‘It had credit cards and about £25 in cash still in it.

‘It is wonderful that someone could be so honest and hand it in.

‘It has really restored my faith in people.

‘We had a wonderful evening, it was a great event.

‘And I’d also like to say thank you to Whale Island and South Coast Proms.’
