CHARITIES from across the region are being encouraged by the UK’s biggest housebuilder to enter a competition to win a new house worth up to £250,000.

Persimmon Homes South Coast is celebrating its 40th anniversary by giving one lucky regional charity the chance to win a three-bedroom detached house with a garage to help with their fundraising activities, and also giving a further 23 runners-up a £6,000 donation.

Andrew Golawski, the managing director of the company, said: ‘We are calling on local people to nominate the causes close to their hearts and tell us why that charity deserves the prize.’

All nominations must be received at persimmonhomes.com/40 by July 18 and the winning organisation will be announced at a Persimmon Homes birthday charity lunch in September.
