Have your say

PULL ON your cycling shorts and get ready to ride. That’s the invitation from organisers of the annual Denmead Cycle Ride.

Hundreds of people are set to take part this Sunday in aid of the MS Society and the Salvation Army.

There are three routes which all begin at The Harvest Home pub, Southwick Road, Denmead.

The first is an undulating 10 miles, the next is 20 miles, up to Newtown and back and the third is a gruelling 35 miles and takes in Winchester Hill.

Entry is £5 for adults and £2 for children on the day of the event.

There will be a barbecue and live bands throughout the day.

Christina Hicks, from the Harvest Home, said: ‘It’s going to be brilliant.’
