VOLUNTEERS are being sought to bring history to life.

From mid-November The Novium Museum, in Chichester, will be offering free entry which is expected to boost the number of visitors.

To help, Chichester District Council is appealing for volunteer guides to show visitors around the galleries, explain the stories behind the exhibits and provide visitors with a welcoming and informative experience. Councillor Myles Cullen said: ‘Our guides do an amazing job and really help to illuminate past times and bring them into the present.

‘As we prepare for free entry this is an exciting opportunity for more volunteers to be involved with the history of the district, learn a new skill and be part of the community.’
