IT’S Britain like you’ve never seen it before.

Children let their imaginations run wild as they took maps and jazzed them up with paint to create the country they would like to see.

The maps were then put together to create a huge montage map.

The project was a collaboration between The Waterloo School in Waterlooville, Icknield School in Andover and Heathfield School in Fareham.

The artwork is on display in the foyer area of Lakeside 1000 at North Harbour.

Angela Hollins, acting headteacher at The Waterloo School, said: ‘It was their vision of an ideal Britain.

‘There was more landscape rather than built-up areas.’

She thanked Sharon Farria for spearheading the project.
