Have your say

THERE will be plenty to see and do at a community fun day.

Residents have teamed up with the Leigh Park Neighbourhood Watch forum to put on the event on the green between St Christopher’s, St Nicholas, St Michaels & Ernest Road.

The Mayor of Havant, Councillor Paul Buckley, will open the event which begins at 11am on July 13.

The emergency services, Havant Borough Council’s environmental rangers and recycling team, young people’s group ACE, Portsmouth City Council, The Swan pub and Trading Standards will all be at the event.

People are welcome to quiz all the stallholders on the different services they offer while the youngsters enjoy the bouncy castle, egg and spoon and sack races.

From 1pm to 2pm there will be basketball and football skills workshops.

Minnie and Mini Mouse will also be popping by.

The day will finish at 3pm.

For more information about the event call the organiser Dennis Ansell on 07952 584023.
