A WOMAN has told of her shock after a jet-ski crashed into her home – despite it being two miles away from the nearest coast.

Laura Clarke was woken by a loud bang when the jet-ski slammed into her home, in Lynn Crescent, Titchfield Common last night.

It is believed to have come loose from a passing vehicle.

Laura, 28, said: ‘I was absolutely stunned. I could not believe how lucky we were as the jet-ski could have easily caused an explosion as it was so close to the gas mains, or gone through our living room where my husband was at the time.’

The jet-ski was returned to its owner.

It had previously been stolen.

Police are investigating the incident.
