A school has thanked the Kings Theatre for putting on a special performance of Cinderella for its special needs students.

When the theatre heard that St Francis School in Fareham was vandalised last month, it invited students to a specially-tailored performance to cater for those with learning difficulties.

Headteacher Steve Hollinghurst said: ‘This was a great donation and has given the children a lot of joy.

‘They loved the performance which was stimulating and enjoyable. The best bit was when the cast came to meet the children in their costumes after the show. Many thanks to the Kings Theatre and the hard-working cast of the show.’
