PEOPLE are being invited to a fireworks spectacular held in honour of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.

The Lee Business Association is organising a fireworks display to mark 60 years since the Queen’s coronation.

It will be held on the Lee Recreation Ground, off Cambridge Road, during the bank holiday on August 25.

The event will be free to anyone who wants to attend.

It starts at 7pm, with live folk music and an organic hog roast.

The fireworks display will start at 9.30pm.
