Have your say

It’s been sad time recently in the world of entertainment. First Cilla Black and now George Cole.

While I was never a fan of Cilla Black the singer, there’s no doubting her down to earth personality, and her warm demeanour.

I still remember seeing her performing her first release, Love of the Loved on TV.

As for George Cole, when he played Flash Harry in Blue Murder at St Trinian’s, I doubt he could have realised that he would go on to create one of the greatest characters on British television, in Minder’s Arthur Daley, who could easily be Flash Harry’s offspring.

In an age when far too many TV shows are repeated over and over, Minder is one which never fails to amuse.

Heartfelt thanks to Cilla Black and George Cole for entertaining us for so many years.

May both of them RIP.
