THE manager of a charity shop will be wearing a dress and make-up to mark the start of his store’s autumn and winter season.

Roy Powers, the manager of the Sue Ryder shop in Waterlooville precinct, has agreed to dress up on Thursday to raise funds as the store is holding an event between 5pm and 7pm to show off the new goods. The evening will see Mr Powers ask for a donation of 50p for visitors to have a picture taken with him.
