A DAY was held to raise awareness of Waterlooville U3A.

More than 200 people attended the event to find out more about the learning organisation.

A variety of study and interest groups displayed their activities at Sacred Heart Church to promote their work.

The groups included walking, wine appreciation, naval history, cinema appreciation and languages.

There was also a display about bridge and board games and there were exhibitions by the photography, painting and drawing groups.

Entertainment was provided by the U3A’s ukulele and singing groups.

Waterlooville U3A was formed in 2006 and now has nearly 600 members.
