LETTER OF THE DAY: Parking permits - daylight robbery?

Have your say

MEMBERS of the Crofton Lions Club walked blindfolded around a Stubbington shopping area to mark World Sight Day.

The teams handed out leaflets along the way urging people to have eye tests.

Event co-ordinator Reg Norton said: ‘Most people think nothing of going to the dentist for a regular check-up whether or not they are in pain.

‘But while false teeth work, false eyes don’t.’

Crofton Lions president Vicky Stabler, whose husband Tony guided the team dressed as a lion, handed out certificates of appreciation for Natalie Maddocks, Simon Triggs, Becci Williams and Alana Benson-Green.
