A DEDICATED team of litter pickers have collected more than 1,000 bags of rubbish.

Lee-on-the-Solent Litteraction, led by co-ordiantor Graham Smith, has collected the bags over a series of litter picks since the group was set up in 2010.

Mr Smith set up the group after being upset when he saw people leaving litter on Lee-on-the-Solent’s seafront.

The next clean-up is being held on September 13.

Meet at the Falkland Gardens in Gosport at 10am.
