WE ASKED you to show off your summer fun and you certainly did.
Your entries for our One Summer’s Day competition came flooding in, showing what activities you got up to in the sunshine.
And today we can reveal the winner is Lisa Rhodes (pictured with daughter Lola).
The mum-of-one sent a picture of Lola with static hair while playing on her trampoline.
And the picture with the six-year-old’s hair standing on end definitely captured the spirit of a fun summer’s day of August 23.
Lisa, of Bay Road in Gosport, said: ‘The picture just came around by accident
‘Lola was doing somersaults on the trampoline and her hair got really static.
‘The more she did, the bigger her hair got. So we decided to get a picture and send it in.’
Lisa added that it reflected what Lola got up to over the summer.
‘Lola loves the trampoline and spends hours on there,’ she said.
‘She does tumbles, somersaults – she just bounces for hours and hours. She loves it.’
And Lola was excited to be in the winning picture.
She said: ‘I like trampolining so I’m happy that I won.
‘It is good exercise and I like doing the roly-polys. My hair was funny.’
Second place went to Jammer Whitaker, of Havant, who took a picture of her children Coral and Cohwen in the winners’ enclosure dressed as jockeys at Glorious Goodwood (pictured).
Third place went to Sarah and Mikayla Pope for their picture at Victorious Festival (pictured).
