It’s this year’s must-have game for Christmas – Pie Face

But if you’re hoping to buy it in the Portsmouth area, you’ll have to be lucky.

Toys’R’Us in Burrfields Road, Portsmouth, has sold out, although they are hoping to get more in over the next week.

And the Toys’R’Us store in Southampton has also sold out.

It is also out of stock at Argos in Portsmouth, Gosport, Havant, Waterlooville and Fareham.

Pie Face is described as ‘the fast action game filled with fun and suspense for the whole family’.

In it, players put whipped cream or a wet sponge on the hand of the game unit. The jeopardy comes in that you have to put your face in line and it could go off at any time.

The game is one of a number of toys that featured on a list of the top 10 gifts for Christmas this year.

Others on the list, compiled by the Toy Retailers’ Association, are the Bladebuilder Jedi Master Lightsabre by Hasbro, Kylo Ren’s Command Shuttle and the Millennium Falcon, both by Lego.

The Thunderbirds Interactive Tracy Island Playset has also made the list, alongside favourites such as the Disney Frozen Sing-a-long Elsa.

Lego’s City Deep Sea Exploration Vessel is also expected to fair well on Christmas lists, while Little Live Pets, Paw Patrol, Shopkins and the Vtech Toot Toot Friends toys fearure on the list.
