THE Citizen’s Advice Bureau, Hampshire County Council and entrepreneurs will all have stalls at a council’s community open day.

Havant Borough Council will host the event at the Public Service Plaza where the public will be able to discover what facilities the venue, in Civic Centre Road, has to offer.

The Plaza can hold weddings and there will be a registration officer from the county council on hand.

Business people who use the atrium for meetings will also be there.

And voluntary organisations and charities that use the Plaza have also been invited.

Councillor Yvonne Weeks, portfolio holder for economy and communities at the borough council, said: ‘We are proud to showcase the Plaza and demonstrate to the community that this building is for them to use and we want them to get the maximum out of it.

‘Whether it’s just a meeting place to have a coffee in the Atrium or to hold your club’s AGM it’s worth taking a look.’

The open day is July 16, from 11am to 6pm.
