A CHARITY candlelit walk will take place in Swanmore next month following the success of last year’s fundraiser.

Snowdrops by Candlelight is returning for one night only on February 7 in support of The Rowan’s Hospice in Purbrook and Ickle Pickles Children’s Charity.

Last year more than 100 people enjoyed the woodland walk in the grounds of Hill Farm House, raising £1,000 for charity.

The Rowas Hospice support group honorary chairman and event organiser Eileen Jayne-Wood welcomes families to join the stroll, which includes mulled wine and a sale of gifts and plants. Mrs Jayne-Wood said people should book in advance. Tickets are £10 in advance or £12 on the door. A family ticket is £25.

Call (023) 9238 2433 or send an SAE to Snowdrops, Orchard Cottage, 34 West Street, Southwick, Hampshire, PO17 6EA.
