Hopes have been raised that a sheepdog, named Blake, who went missing with a five-week-old lamb, called Bella, in Nottinghamshire last Monday may have been spotted in West Town, Hayling Island.

Owner Natalie Haywood has been contacted by people from the West Town area who believe that they may have spotted Blake.

Blake went missing from his home in Perlethorpe, Nottinghamshire last Monday along with Bella, who was taken in from a neighbouring farm just over a month ago.

The duo have been inseparable ever since with Bella believing Blake is her mum and the search for the animals led to a £1,000 reward being offered for the pair by ITV presenter Philip Schofield.

Miss Haywood said: ‘I have been contacted by a few people who have said they have seen a dog that matches Blake’s description.
