RADIO station Wave 105 is hoping to raise £25,000 live on air.

The Fareham-based station will be holding the live appeal on Friday, April 25 as part of its Cash for Kids campaign.

The money will go towards CLIC Sargent, a cancer charity.

CLIC Sargent CEO Lorraine Clifton said: ‘Every donation we receive, however small, helps us support young cancer patients. So we’re really pleased to be the beneficiary of this year’s Wave 105 Cash for Kids Day and very grateful for all the support and dedication of Wave 105.’
