COWPLAIN will soon be going crazy about cows.

The annual Cowplain Cow Trail will take place in Queen’s Inclosure woods, off Park Lane, on Sunday, May 11, from 2pm to 4pm.

This year the theme is ‘eco cows’ and local businesses, community groups, families and schools will be getting creative and making their own cow.

Materials used to make the cows will include cardboard, tin cans, milk cartons, newspaper, grass, sticks and leaves.

The event is being organised by Caterpillar Crafts and St Wilfrid’s Church in Cowplain.

From May 5, cow artwork will be displayed in the local shops.

This year there is a short sponsored walk for toddlers, which will money for Phoebe’s Fight in aid of a local girl battling leukaemia.

The event is free and will include fun cow-themed activities, so there’s something for all ages to enjoy.
